We proudly invite you to the 3rd Annual Glasgow Open BJJ Tournament which will be held at the prestigious Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena on the 25th of September 2010. The event will be contested under standard IBJJF rules.
The competition is open to all belt levels (white, blue, purple, brown and black) and will feature the following divisions at each belt level: -
Male (Adult, Masters & Seniors) -57,5 kg/ -64,0 kg/ - 70,0 kg/ -76,0 kg/ -82,3 kg/ -88,3 kg/ -94,3 kg/ -100,5 kg/ + 100,5 kg
Female (Adult, Masters & Seniors) -53,5 kg/ - 58,5 kg/ - 64,0 kg/ - 69,0 kg/ + 69,0 kg
All weight divisions will be run on a double elimination basis, losers in each round bar the final will drop into a 3rd place bracket to fight off for the bronze medal. Absolute divisions are single elimination and limited to 32 competitors.
